Plug & Play

BackupAgent Appliance BackupAgent has developed a range of Appliances, which are standard configured. Operating system and database are pre-installed, as well as the BackupAgent Server Software. The BackupAgent Appliances are plug-and-play solutions; i.e. the Appliances are ready for use and can be implemented without difficult configurations.

Redundancy

Replication of BackupAgent Appliance

The BackupAgent Replication Software allows a BackupAgent Appliance to be replicated to a second Backup Server (Appliance). With this possibility, advanced 2-tier backup/restore procedures can be created. Ideally, the primary BackupAgent Appliance is placed within the Local Area Network, for fast backup/restore objectives, and the second Backup Server is placed in a secure, remote location (datacentre) for disaster recovery objectives.
