BackupAgent Server Software
The BackupAgent Server Software manages the disk-based storage of backup data transmitted from BackupAgent Client Software. One single BackupAgent Server Software installation can be used to provide backup/restore services to multiple customers or a single customer exclusively (one-to-many; one-to-one). The BackupAgent Server Software is typically installed on a secure remote location (datacentre). The BackupAgent Server Software can connect with storage architectures as DAS, NAS or SAN.
You can integrate the BackupAgent Server Software into your own network and infrastructure. This way, you can manage an own online backup service for your customers, branded as your own solution.
Management console
BackupAgent has developed an easy and convenient Management Console, which is integrated in the BackupAgent Server Software. The central
Management Console allows you to manage and monitor the backup processes of the end-users. The Management Console can be accessed remotely through a web interface, in a fully secured environment. You can create test accounts, create or modify new users/customers and access all their logs. The console allows you to see (and monitor) whether or not a backup or recovery procedure has been successful.
