Offer an online backup service based on monthly subscription
This is the most common business model used by our partners. A customer (company or person) installs your branded Online Backup Client Software on its PC, laptop or server and backs up data to your Backup Server. You are able to charge the customer periodically and generate monthly recurring revenues. The service will strengthen your customer loyalty and create a massive competitive edge.Offer your resellers a branded managed online backup service
This model is similar to the first, only now your resellers sell your online backup service to customers. You can offer your resellers storage space and an online backup solution with their own brand. Resellers recruit their own customers, who will eventually back up their data to your Backup Server. This business model is very scalable business-wise and a proven success with many partners.Resell the solution and offer replication services
When you have larger businesses in your customer base, you might consider this model. Here, you resell the whole branded solution, the BackupAgent Client Software and Server Software (possibly pre-installed on an Appliance), to a company. You can provide, install and maintain it for your customer for an additional consultancy fee. Since the Backup Server or Appliance is installed in your customer’s own environment, you can provide a Replication Service. By using the BackupAgent Replication Software, you can offer a Disaster Recovery Service to your customers, by replicating the data on the Backup Server or Appliance to a second Appliance or Server in your own network or datacentre.Resell an online backup service, using BackupAgent Services
BackupAgent provides a Software-as-a-Service model, which enables you to offer a secure online backup service to your customers. With BackupAgent Services, your customers can backup their data from a desktop, laptop or server to the central BackupAgent Servers. Meaning you do not need to invest in hardware or infrastructure.
