Plugins to Backup Applications

BackupAgent Client Software works with a plug-in architecture, which makes backing up information from applications fairly easy. Some of them are included with the Client Software by default. In addition, more plug-ins are available and there is the possibility to develop new plug-ins in cooperation with BackupAgent.

Default included plug-ins

The BackupAgent Client Software includes some plug-ins by default; these enable the possibility to make backups of several of the most common applications.

BackupAgent Client can make backups of:

Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook Express
Windows Live Mail
Favorites (of Internet Explorer)
Windows System State (Windows Registry, Active Directory, System/Boot Files)

Additionally available plug-ins

BackupAgent Client Software can be extended with special plug-ins for backing up specific applications. These plug-ins has been developed by BackupAgent in cooperation with the vendor of the application.
