During last summer, BackupAgent has launched a SPLA licensing model, that turns out to be a big hit. BackupAgent Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) is a licensing program that enables Service Providers (hosting companies, ISPs, Telcos) with a offering to license BackupAgent software on a monthly basis to provide an online backup service to their end customers. The SPLA program offers Service Providers a monthly usage-based cost where no commitments or large upfront investments are required. There are no yearly support and maintenance fees applicable.
