For the second year in a row BackupAgent is nominated by ChannelWorld for their prestigious Channel Xcellence Awards. Last year BackupAgent was nominated for the ‘Innovative Business Partner Award’ and this year also BackupAgent can be found in this category. Of course BackupAgent continued its efforts after the election en kept on investing in functionality and usability for its online backup platform. These innovations – like the new Replication module – result in the maintenance of the leading position of BackupAgent in this segment of the market. The nomination of ChannelWorld is a confirmation that BackupAgent has made good choices in tough economical times.

The economical circumstances have led also to the addition of a new category to the Channel Xcellence Awards. This year for the first time there will be an ‘Economical Survivor Award’. Moreover, BackupAgent is listed as nominee in this category too.

The election will take place during the Channel Xcellence Gala on April 14, 2010. Voting on the candidates – including BackupAgent twice – can be done till the end of January 2010.
