BackupAgent finalist in the Red Herring 100 Global Awards

BackupAgent has been selected by renowned American specialist journal Red Herring as finalist in the Red Herring 100 Global Awards 2007. This is the first edition of an election for the most promising start-up companies in the world. In March this year, Red Herring selected BackupAgent as a finalist in the European edition of the Red Herring Awards. BackupAgent is one of the few Dutch companies that managed to make it to the final. Only winners and finalists of the North-American, European and Asian editions of the Red Herring Awards are eligible for a place in the finals of the worldwide elections. Red Herring has made a strict selection from 1,800 companies and elected 200 of the most promising technology companies as finalists. During its selection procedure, the professional journal evaluated quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as the financial performance, innovative strength, management, worldwide strategy and partner policy. Red Herring will announce the final winners during the Red Herring 100 Awards Ceremony, which will be held in Seattle on 4 December 2007.
