BackupAgent appoints new CEO

BackupAgent BV has appointed Moos Bulder as new CEO of the company, as from July 1, 2007. He succeeds co-founder Robbert van Geldrop, who becomes CTO.

Moos is a seasoned IT Industry executive, having held top positions in global General Management, and Sales and Marketing for over thirty years. He has a successful track record in building and turning around companies and organizations, in developing direct and indirect sales organizations with distributors, OEMs, resellers, consulting and software companies and in dealing with Fortune 1000 companies. In the last five years, as President/CEO of Verio Europe, a full subsidiary of NTT Communications in Japan. Moos oversaw all European operations. Previously, he was Vice President for PSINet Inc.'s hosting business in Europe; prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Alliances for Open Enterprise Computing at Siemens in Germany, successfully expanding its international business.

The other members of the management team remain unchanged: co-founders Paul de Grijp and Roland Sars as COO and CMO, respectively.
